FGBU “VGNKI” to hold an international conference on antibiotic detection in livestock products

On April 7, 2026, the All-Russian State Center for Quality and Standardization of Veterinary Drugs and Feed (VGNKI) will host an international scientific and practical conference titled “Veterinary vector. A Comprehensive View of Innovations and Practice”.

The conference will take place in a webinar format featuring the leading scientific and educational institutions, namely M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Federal Research Center “Fundamental Principles of Biotechnology” of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

During the conference, discussions will focus on the responsible use of antibiotics in livestock production and on maintaining the efficacy of critically important antimicrobial drugs, taking into account modern scientific advancements and the recommendations of international organizations.

Special attention will be paid to the development and implementation of new rapid methods for determining the residual amounts of antibiotics in livestock products, particularly macrolides and aminoglycosides. Such methods allow for the analysis of large numbers of samples at minimal cost and with reduced sample preparation time.

Additionally, experts will discuss modern approaches to the use of rapid methods, safety requirements, and method validation.

To participate in the conference as a speaker, please forward your presentation topic via e-mail to e.gorchitsa@vgnki.ru not later than March 23, 2026. The working languages of the conference are Russian and English.
