VGNKI AND RTU MIREA HAVE SIGNED A SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT

On July 17, 2025, the Russian State Center for Animal Feed and Drug Standardization and Quality (VGNKI) and MIREA – Russian Technological University (RTU MIREA) – signed an agreement on comprehensive partnership and cooperation aimed at harnessing the scientific and technological potential of both parties.

One of the key objectives of the partnership will be the development of human-resource capacity: creating platforms both for training and internships of young specialists and for drawing them into the fields of veterinary science, laboratory analysis and regulatory expertise. Working closely with the scientific schools of RTU MIREA and the high-tech infrastructure of VGNKI, the parties plan to exchange best practices and form joint research teams.

The agreement lays a solid foundation for a lasting scientific-educational and technological partnership. Against a backdrop of rising standards for the quality and safety of veterinary medicines, feeds, and products of animal origin, combining the resources of the country's leading specialist expert center with one of the top-of-the-line technological universities opens way to new opportunities.

In order to bolster each area of cooperation, the parties plan to draw on their scientific and methodical resources and on advances in fundamental science to tackle practical challenges faced by the veterinary and agricultural sectors.
