VGNKI, A SUBORDINATE INSTITUTE TO ROSSELKHOZNADZOR, CONDUCTED 7 INSPECTIONS OF FOREIGN MANUFACTURING SITES OF VETERINARY MEDICINAL PRODUCTS IN THE PERIOD MARCH 29TH TO APRIL 27TH OF 2024
For the period from March 29th to April 27th of 2024, experts of the Russian State Centre for Animal Feed and Drug Standardization and Quality (VGNKI) carried out 6 on-site and 1 remote inspections of foreign manufacturing sites of medicinal products for veterinary use.
In France, 4 inspections of manufacturing sites were carried out, whose production includes:’Credelio’ – antiparasitic tablets for oral use for cats, ‘Milbemax’ – anthelmintic drug for dogs and cats, ‘Onsior’ – anti-inflammatory and analgesic drug for cats and dogs, as well as a tableted vaccine ‘Avinew NEO’ against the Newcastle disease, ‘Bioral H120 NEO’ and ‘Gallivac IB88 NEO’ against infectious bronchitis.
In Hungary a site inspection was carried out in relation to the manufacturing of antibacterial powder, solutions, suspension, granules and concentrate for the preparation of an oral solutions for swine, poultry, cattle, antiparasitic chewable tablets for cats and dogs.
In China an inspection of the production was performed in relation to the release of vaccines against: infectious bronchitis; circovirus and porcine enzootic pneumonia, caused by Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae.
Documentary inspection in the USA was carried out in the representatives’ office in Moscow, using remote communication tools, including audio or video communication. The inspection was conducted in relation to the manufacturing of immunobiologicals, including ‘Vectormune HVT-NDV’ vector vaccine for the prevention of Marek’s and Newcastle disease in poultry farms.
Furthermore, specialists of the Inspection Body took part in 4 procedures to assess the ability of domestic manufacturers of medicinal products to comply with license requirements.

- manufacturer of APIs and sterile medicinal products for veterinary use in the form of solutions in Moscow
- manufacturer of medical and veterinary supplies in Yaroslavl.
