THE FIRST 5 STRAINS OF MICROORGANISMS AND VIRUSES OF A FOREIGN MANUFACTURER HAVE BEEN TRANSFERRED TO THE COLLECTION OF THE FSBI "VGNKI"

The first 5 strains that are part of the Evant and Evalon vaccines produced by LABORATORIOS HIPRA, S.A. have been transferred to the All-Russian State Collection of Microorganism Strains for deposit. (Spain). These vaccines are used by domestic poultry farms to prevent avian coccidiosis.

On July 1, 2022 the provisions of the Federal Law of December 30, 2020 No. 492-FZ “On Biological Safety in the Russian Federation” came into force, which regulate collection activities related to the use of pathogenic microorganisms and viruses.

In accordance with Part 8 of Article 11 of Law No. 492-FZ, all strains of pathogenic microorganisms and viruses used in the production of medicinal products for veterinary use registered in accordance with the established procedure and approved for circulation on the territory of the Russian Federation are subject to mandatory deposit in collections.

Deposition of strains of microorganisms includes incoming quality control (genetic identification, verification of properties) and long-term guaranteed storage of the strain.
