RESEARCHERS OF VGNKI DISCUSSED THE DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS OF INFORMATION COOPERATION AT THE MEETING WITH BASE ORGANIZATIONS OF THE CIS MEMBER STATES

On November 6, 2025, the specialists of the Russian State Centre for Animal Feed and Drug Standardization and Quality (VGNKI) participated in the meeting with base organizations of the states – members of the CIS in economic field, which took place in the office of the CIS Executive Committee in Moscow.

In the course of the event, participants discussed key issues of cooperation development and promotion of base organizations’ activity. Special attention was paid to the role of such organizations in policy-making and second stage implementation (2026-2030) of the Strategy for the CIS Economic Development up to 2030.

At the meeting, the information was presented on the development of General Provisions of base organizations of the CIS Member States designed to harmonize and systematize the activity of these organizations. The participants also considered the possibility to use specialized page on the website of the CIS Executive Committee for publication of informational materials on current events and research studies.

Under discussion, the base organizations’ representatives shared their experience of cooperation with the state authorities and sector-specific state structures of the CIS Member States, discussed grant support mechanism and development prospects of information exchange.

From the participants’ perspective, organizing such annual meetings is an effective format for fostering professional connections and developing multilateral cooperation among base organizations of the CIS Member States.
