Kish Leonid
Date of birth: May 3, 1974.
Mr. Kish was appointed Director of VGNKI, in 2018, after serving as its Deputy Director and Head of the VGNKI Inspection Body for seven years.
His previous roles include:
Head of the Veterinary Committee of Moscow city and Moscow Veterinary Station institution.
Director of Federal State "Veterinary Center" Institution.
Since 2007 he took different managing positions at the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of Moscow, Moscow region, and Moscow Zonal Department of State Veterinary Inspection on the State Border of the Russian Federation and Transport.
He began his Federal career as leading specialist and leading veterinarian in 1999.
Mr. Kish has several awards and honorary titles such as: medals "For merits in the field of veterinary medicine", "Laureate of VVC"; Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation "For long-term conscientious work in the system of the agro-industrial complex". His Civil Service rank is the Third class Adviser to the State Civil Service of the Russian Federation.
Mr. Kish graduated from Military-Veterinary Department of Moscow State Academy of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology in 1997. In 2005 he improved his skills at All-Russia Research Institute of Meat Industry in veterinary and sanitary control over safety of meat and meat products, and in 2006 - at Russian Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation in managing the placement of government orders for heads of commissions.
