Education:

In 2006, Ms. Gergel graduated from Biological and Soil Science Faculty of Voronezh State University with a degree in Biology. In 2008, finished her master studies at Voronezh State University with a degree in Biology and specialization in Biochemistry

Career:

Starting from 2007 – scientific practitioner, Division of Genetic Diagnostics of Transgenic Animals and Plants, FGBU “VGNKI”

Starting from 2009 – Head of Division of Genetic Diagnostics of Transgenic Animals and Plants (in 2015 changed its name for GMO Control Division), FGBU “VGNKI”

Starting from 2016 – Head of Biotechnologies Department, FGBU “VGNKI”

Starting from 2019 – Head of Testing Center, FGBU “VGNKI”

Since 2020 – Deputy Director and Head of Testing Center, FGBU “VGNKI”

Awards and honorary titles:

Silver medal and diploma of Golden Autumn Exhibition for contribution into biotechnologies development in agro-industrial complex and development of test systems for GMO detection and identification in feeds and feed additives; 

Rosselkhoznadzor letter of commendation “For years-long scrupulous service, efficient performance and in virtue of celebrating the Day of Veterinarian Workers”;
